Emily won the 1st Place award in the final presentation of Amgen Scholars Program in KU! / Emily さんが成果報告会で1位に選ばれました
7月31日，京都大学芝蘭会館で 2023 アムジェン・スカラーズ・プログラム の成果発表会が行われました。参加者投票により，当研究室の受け入れスカラーである Emily Chang さん（カナダ・カルガリー大学）が見事 1 位に選ばれました。
Emily さんは，長谷川特定助教の強力なサポートのもと，当研究室において新しい反芳香族化合物の合成と集積化に主体的に取り組み，成果報告会でも見事なプレゼンを行いました。Emily さんを含む上位 3 名には，シンガポールで開催されるアジア・シンポジウムにて口頭発表の機会が与えられます。Emily，おめでとう！
The wrap-up symposium of Amgen Scholars Program in Kyoto University was held on July 31. Ms. Emily Chang, an Amgen Scholar from the University of Calgary in Canada hosted by our group, was selected as the first place winner by the participants’ vote.
With the strong support of Dr. Shota Hasegawa, Emily has been proactively working on the synthesis and self-assembly of new antiaromatic compounds in our group, and gave an excellent presentation at the symposium. The top three winners, including Emily, will have the opportunity to give oral presentations at the Asian Symposium to be held in Singapore. Congratulations Emily! We are proud of you.
