The 1st MacDiarmid Institute – Kyoto University Workshop on Integrated Data-Material Sciences
2023年8月29-30日，京都大学アイセムスの Daniel Packwood 博士と深澤教授を実行委員長として，京都大学楽友会館において第1回 マクダイアミド研究所 – 京都大学の合同ワークショップ “The 1st MacDiarmid Institute – Kyoto University Workshop on Integrated Data-Material Sciences” を開催しました。
この会合は，京都大学 On-site Laboratory の一つとしてニュージーランドの MacDiarmid Institute に2021年秋に設立された「データ・材料科学統合センター」の初の対面ワークショップです。同研究所から8名，京都大学側から10名の講演者が登壇し，活発な議論や交流が行われました。
研究室のみなさんにも，事前準備から当日の運営まで協力いただき，盛会にて修了しました。
On August 29-30, 2023, we hosted the 1st MacDiarmid Institute – Kyoto University Workshop on Integrated Data-Material Sciences at the Kyoto University Rakuyu Kaikan. The event was chaired by Dr. Daniel Packwood and Professor Fukazawa from Kyoto University iCeMS .
This workshop was the first in-person meeting of the Center for Integrated Data-Material Sciences, established in the fall of 2021 as part of the Kyoto University On-site Laboratory at the MacDiarmid Institute in New Zealand. Eight speakers from the MacDiarmid Institute and ten speakers from Kyoto University took the stage, boosting active discussions and exchanges.
We, iCeMS researchers, sincerely thank our colleagues from MDI for their visit to us! We would also like to thank everyone in the Fukazawa Group for their cooperation, from the preparation to the operation on the day, which contributed to the successful conclusion of the event!
