Dr. Usuba appointed as a Designated Assistant Professor at Nagoya Univ. / 薄葉博士が名古屋大学松田研究室に特任助教として着任されました
先日，卒業生の薄葉純一博士が米国ブランダイス大学・Han 研究室での1年半の博士研究員生活を終えて帰国し，当研究室に立ち寄ってくれました。米国での研究経験を経て一回りも二回りも逞しくなった薄葉博士は，6月1日付で名古屋大学大学院工学研究科・松田研究室に特任助教として着任され，研究者として新たな挑戦をスタートされました。これからの益々のご活躍と健康を祈念しています！
Dr. Junichi Usuba, a former member of our team, recently returned to Japan after 1.5 year as a postdoctoral resercher in the Han Group at Brandeis University in the USA, and dropped by our group. It’s been wonderful to have had him in the group, and he have shown tremendous talent and growth during his career with us and in the US. He has just appointed as a Designated Assistant Professor in the Matsuda Group at Nagoya University as of June 1st, and started his new academic endevor. We wish him continued success and good health!
What a pity we forgot to take a photo with Dr. Usuba. It must have been because we enjoyed chatting with him so much. Instead, a photo of a souvenir from the US is attached!
