Year-end Research Presentations, Fukazawa Group Award 2023 & Farewell Party for Matea / 年末報告会・Matea の送別会を行いました
2023年12月26日に年末恒例の研究発表会を開催しました。メンバー全員が今年の各自の研究を振り返りと今後の展望について発表し，活発な議論が交わされました。
会の最後には，深澤教授が 2023 年を総括し，研究室メンバーの 1 年間の努力に敬意を感謝をこめて Fukazawa Group Awards の表彰式を行いました。研究実験に対して最もハードワークしたことを称える “Hard Worker of the Year” は，磯貝くん (D1) が3年連続受賞し，みごと殿堂入りを果たしました。殿堂入りしたメンバーは次年度以降は同じ賞が受賞できないというルールが今回新たに設定されたので，今後は他のメンバーにもチャンスがあります。さて来年の受賞者は誰になるでしょうか。
この会は，当研究室に 4ヶ月間滞在して研究を行った Matea Srsen さんの最後の発表の機会でもありました。Matea さんは常に明るく前向きに研究に取り組むだけでなく，グループメンバーのことをいつも思いやって声を掛けてくれ，あっという間にムードメーカーの一人になっていました。お別れするのはとてもさみしいですが，いつかまた会える日がくると信じています。私達のグループに加わってくれて，本当にありがとう！
同日の夜には，忘年会を兼ねて Matea の送別会を行いました。2024年がさらなる飛躍の年になりますように！
On December 26, we held our annual end-of-year research presentation event. Every member took a moment to reflect on their individual research over the year and share their visions for the future, sparking lively discussions. At the end of the meeting, Aiko wrapped up 2023 by expressing her gratitude and respect for the year-long efforts of our team members, culminating in the Fukazawa Group Awards ceremony. The “Hard Worker of the Year” award, honoring the most diligent effort in research activities, was won by Ryosuke for the thired consecutive year, earning him a spot in the hall of fame. A new rule was set this year, stating that hall of famers are ineligible for the same award in future years, opening up opportunities for other members. It’s exciting to think about who will grab the award next year!
The event also marked the final presentation for Matea Srsen, who spent four months with us. Matea was not only dedicated and positive towards her research but also became a mood maker of the group, always caring and reaching out to other members. It’s sad to say goodbye, but we believe we’ll meet again somday. Thank you so much for being a part of our team, Mate!
That evening, we also held a year-end party doubling as a fawell for Matea, hoping for even greater leaps forward in 2024!
